December 8th 2010, Cincinnati, Ohio.

The South West Ohio Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society held their annual “Light the Night Walk, Top Teams” awards banquet at the Cincinnati Zoo, in the back drop of the “Festival of Lights”.

For the second year in a row “USA Collision Centers / Team Annmarie” were in the top ten of corporate teams who raised money for the “Light the Night Walk”.

This year the USA Collision Centers team placed 6th, raising over $8,300.00 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

USA Collision Centers has been an active participant in the Light the Night Walk since 2003 after one of their own, Annmarie Sanfillipo was diagnosed with Leukemia (AML).

Sadly Annmarie passed away in July of 2009. Since that time the USA Collision Centers walk team has made it their goal to raise more money. Their dedication has paid off, with their team hitting the ranks of the top ten the past two years.

Annmarie’s husband Joe is the Chief Operating Officer of USA Collision Centers and Annmarie was a long time Office Manager for the company. Joe has been very active with the local chapter of the Leukemia Society since Annmarie was first diagnosed. Over the years Joe has sat and continues to sit on multiple committees and was even runner up for “Leukemia Society’s Man of the Year” in 2006. In 2008 USA Collision Centers Manager, Eddie Taylor was a runner up for the “Leukemia Society’s Man of the Year”. USA Collision Centers is an annual presenting sponsor of the “Man & Woman of the Year campaign and gala” and also an annual presenting sponsor of the Leukemia Society’s “Taste of the World” event.
